Take a first look at Summer 2026 programs!

Sneak Peek at Summer 2026
Take a first look at our program schedule for Summer 2026! With lots of returning favorites and additional sessions of popular programs, it’s going to be a blast. Full program descriptions and pricing will be coming to our website soon, and registration officially opens December 13th!

Fall Event Recap
October was a great month for connecting with our community, with Director Robyn and Assistant Director Hannah bringing camp fun to numerous events in our area! These included the Albany & Adirondack District Day at Saratoga Springs UMC, Calvary UMC’s Fall Festival, Shenendehowa UMC’s Boo Bash, Cobleskill UMC’s Halloween Hollow, and Trunk or Treats at Burnt Hills UMC, Saratoga Springs UMC, and Up Yonda Farm.
We passed out candy and flyers with information about Summer 2026 summer camp and family programs, introduced who we are and what we do to new people, and made connections with camper families of the past, present, and future!
If your church or community organization has an event this winter or spring that you think Skye Farm would be a great addition to, please reach out to us at our office email, [email protected]. We’re always happy for the chance to talk about camp, lead games or team-building activities, and deepen our connection with our neighbors.

Join Us in Supporting Local Food Assistance
Many families across the US are facing increased food insecurity this month as SNAP benefits and other federal programs are impacted by the government shutdown. We encourage those who are able in our Skye Farm community to support food assistance programs (food pantries, free meal programs, etc.) in their area. Support can look like donating food or other necessities (when in doubt, check with the organization to see what items they’re in need of,) donating money so they can purchase the exact supplies they need, and/or simply helping to share information about the program or calls for donations on social media or within your personal network. Skye Farm will be donating some extra supplies from Summer 2025 to North Country Ministry in Warrensburg, NY, an excellent organization to support in our immediate area. If you’re not sure where to find a food assistance program, click here for the Regional Food Bank of Northeastern NY’s “Find Food Near Me” tool.
What are you thankful for?
This Thanksgiving season, we’d love to hear from the Skye Farm community. Click here to tell us what about Skye Farm you’re thankful for this year! Responses will be shared anonymously on Skye Farm social media to celebrate Thanksgiving.
Thursday Crew Highlight
A Thursday Crew volunteer project we’d like to highlight this month is the fresh look the Glens Falls cabins are getting! As one of our cabin groups that formerly had woodstoves installed in decades past, the Glens Falls cabins had older walls and ceilings that were due for a refresh. Thursday Crew volunteers have been busy bringing in fresh paint for some of the walls and preparing Skye Farm lumber to be installed on the walls and ceilings. We look forward to welcoming campers into these fresh spaces next summer!

Giving Tuesday is December 2nd
Giving Tuesday is an annual global celebration of radical generosity and a day to consider how your gifts can do good in the world. As Giving Tuesday approaches, and the end-of-year giving season more broadly, we encourage you to prayerfully consider making a gift to support Skye Farm. Our operation is made possible by the generosity of our donors, the fundraising efforts of the Skye Farm Foundation, and support of all kinds from our community.
Thank you for supporting Skye Farm, whether that means trusting us with your family, volunteering your time, spreading the word about what we do, helping get kids to camp, or making financial gifts. If you’d like to make a donation to the Skye Farm Foundation, click the link below.
