Do you have a camper registered for camp at Skye Farm this summer? Save the date! Wednesday, May 28 at 1pm or Tuesday, June 3 at 7:30pm, join Director Robyn and Assistant Director Hannah for an information session via Zoom to learn more about preparing your camper for their time at Skye Farm this summer.

We can answer your questions about what to expect, what to pack, and what to get excited about! These information sessions are open to parents/guardians/family members of campers who are registered for a Summer 2025 program at Skye Farm.

Program Spotlight: Special Interests

Each month in the lead-up to summer, we’re spotlighting some of this year’s summer camp programs. This month, we want to highlight some of our programs that cater to campers’ hobbies and special interests!

While all of our summer camp programs include classic camp fun like swimming, campfires, songs, games, arts & crafts, etc, some of our programs dedicate time to special activities aligned with particular interests. Whether that’s making music and performing, painting and creating in the art barn, storytelling and playing D&D, or fishing and spending time at the lake, these programs offer the chance for kids to explore their interests in new ways at camp!

Center Stage is the newest evolution of the Skye Farm classic, Creativity Camp! Led by Creativity Camp volunteers and Skye Farm staff, Center Stage campers will have fun creating and performing a one-of-a-kind show with music, acting, puppetry, improv, and more! Center Stage is an option for campers ages 8-15 and is running August 3 - 8.

Hook, Line, & Sinker campers spend lots of time at the lake fishing! Campers ages 12-15 practice casting, fish from a canoe, visit the local fish hatchery, and learn about Adirondack fish habitats and preventing invasive species. Hook, Line, & Sinker is running August 3 - 8.

Adirondack Artists is a great program for kids ages 8-15 who love to create. Campers draw inspiration from the natural beauty of the Adirondacks through painting, sketching, photography, and more! Plus, they learn about the deep connection between art and the Adirondacks. Adirondack Artists is running July 13 - 18.

Camp Campaign is back for more fun at camp inspired by D&D and other TTRPGs! Campers ages 12-15 enjoy a week filled with adventure, creative problem-solving, fun bringing characters to life, teamwork, and lots of dice rolling! Camp Campaign is running July 6 - 11.

Spaces for summer camp programs are starting to fill up, and certain programs are full or only have a few spots left! Check our website for updates on full programs, and encourage campers in your life to register sooner rather than later to get their preferred program. Remember, word of mouth from trusted friends, family, and congregation members is one of the best ways to get kids to try out camp for the first time. Need camp brochures?
