Winter Family Fun Day
![]() | You're invited to our Winter Family Fun Day! We had such great time with this event last year, and we're looking forward to more sledding, snowshoeing, and fun and treats around the fire with campers, their families, friends of Skye Farm, and even some of our summer staff! Join us at camp on Sunday, February 15th between 1pm and 4pm. This is a free, open-house-style event; donations are welcome. |

Young Adult Winter Retreat
![]() | The Upper NY Young Adults are once again partnering with Skye Farm to host a winter weekend for young adults in our conference! We had such a good time unplugging and connecting with each other at this retreat last year. Keeping up with the news in our country right now on top of all the usual parts of daily life that demand our attention is especially draining, and some intentional time in the woods and in community could do us all some good. |
This retreat is an opportunity for folks ages 18+ to connect with other young adults, enjoying cozy fellowship and games in an Adirondack lodge and flexible outdoor activities, including options like snowshoeing, XC skiing, and skiing and tubing at nearby Gore and West ski mountains.
The retreat will start the evening of Thursday, February 19th as early as 7pm, and end after lunch on Sunday, February 22. We know some folks won't be able to come until Friday, and some of our clergy friends may not be able to stick around for Sunday, so we have two different prices depending on if you can come for 2 nights or for all 3. Prices include lodging and food.
$106 per person for a 2-night stay (Friday - Sunday OR Thursday - Saturday)
$148 per person for a 3-night stay (Thursday - Sunday)
Use the link below to register! We'll be accepting registrations through Monday, February 16th.
Camp & Retreat Ministries Sunday is February 8th!
This coming Sunday, February 8th, is Camp & Retreat Ministries Sunday! This is a conference-wide recognition of the life-changing ministry taking place at our Upper New York camp and retreat centers, including Skye Farm, and includes a special offering taken for camp scholarships. | ![]() |
More info and resources for churches, including printable bookmark inserts for bulletins, can be found on the conference website, here.
If you’re interested in coordinating a visit to your church on a future Sunday, reach out to us at [email protected]. While we may not be able to visit every church, if our schedules don’t align we can still provide you with materials like brochures, videos, and photos to incorporate at your church.
Openings for Camp Nurses
Our camp nurses are an invaluable part of our summer staff team! Each week's Health Director brings comfort and safety to Skye Farm campers, parents, and staff. We have two weeks left with openings for Health Directors this summer, July 5-10 (Week 2) and July 12-17 (Week 3). | ![]() Nurse Deb with volunteer Nicole in summer 2025 |

An Evening at Camp with the Skye Farm Foundation

Save the date! The Skye Farm Foundation’s annual "Evening at Camp" dinner will be on April 18th, 2026 at Shenendehowa UMC.
NEW this year, we will be offering to-go dinner tickets in addition to the tickets to the in-person dinner. This year's dinner will also serve as the kick-off event for our first ever online auction benefiting Skye Farm. More info on both of these new elements to come!
Like we've enjoyed in past years, we'll be sharing a delicious meal prepared by familiar faces from the Skye Farm kitchen, listening and singing along with Skye Farm musicians, browsing new camp merchandise, and raising funds to support the long-term future of Skye Farm.
Tickets will be available soon, stay tuned!
Thursday Crew News
The Thursday Crew has been busy, despite the frigid temperatures! Work on updates to the Glens Falls cabins is almost complete, with finished planks of Skye Farm lumber going up on the walls and ceilings and a fresh coat of paint. | ![]() |
Other ongoing projects include the building of new sound-dampening panels to be installed in Conklin Lodge, the construction of new benches, towel hooks, and more for the updated Central Washhouse, and updates in the Ogden basement including scraping and painting the floor and improving insulation. We are also very grateful each winter for the willingness of the Thursday Crew to assist with snow removal after storms; it’s a big property, and many hands make light work!
